Client Acceptance Policy

Important: MoonGate provides administrative and commercial coordination services only and does not provide legal, financial, investment, banking, tax, or regulated brokerage services.
01 Purpose
This policy governs MoonGate's approach to onboarding, screening, and accepting clients, members, and counterparties. MoonGate reserves the absolute right to accept, decline, or terminate any engagement at its sole discretion.
02 Eligibility Criteria
To engage with MoonGate's services, parties must:
- Be a legal entity or authorised representative of a legal entity
- Operate in a jurisdiction not subject to comprehensive international sanctions
- Provide complete and verifiable KYC/KYB documentation on request
- Declare all beneficial owners and controlling parties
- Agree to and comply with MoonGate's Terms and Conditions and all applicable policies
- Have a legitimate and lawful commercial purpose for engaging with MoonGate's services
03 Screening Criteria
All applicants are subject to preliminary screening against:
- International sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU, UK)
- Internal risk criteria including jurisdiction, ownership structure, and business type
- Adverse media and financial crime databases where available
- MoonGate's internal watchlist of previously declined or suspended parties
04 Grounds for Refusal
MoonGate will decline or terminate engagement where any of the following apply: incomplete, inconsistent, or unverifiable KYC/KYB documentation; match against a relevant sanctions list; high-risk jurisdiction without satisfactory EDD outcome; suspicion of financial crime, fraud, or misrepresentation; business purpose inconsistent with MoonGate's services; prior breach of MoonGate's Terms or policies; or reputational risk assessment determines engagement is inappropriate.
05 No Obligation to Onboard
MoonGate is under no obligation to accept any client, member, or counterparty and need not provide reasons for declining engagement. Declining to engage does not imply any finding of wrongdoing against the declined party.
06 Ongoing Review
Client acceptance is an ongoing process. MoonGate may conduct periodic reviews of existing members and counterparties and may suspend or terminate engagement if risk profiles change materially.
